Daniel Louis "Dan" Castellaneta is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, and screenwriter who voiced the blue Genie in the Aladdin saga whenever Robin Williams was unavailable. However, he's mainly known for voicing Homer Simpson and many other characters on the popular Fox animated sitcom The Simpsons. He also voiced Lazaar in the SatAM version of Sonic The Hedgehog and the titular character in the animated TV series Earthworm Jim, based on The Video Game of the same name. He has also done voice-over work in numerous Disney productions. Additionally, he played Judge Markway in the ABC TV show Castle.
