He is greedy and wants the cosmos of the universe and is willing to betray those who help him once they have served his purpose.

Background

Khartoum is a powerful, evil sorcerer imprisoned in a large magical book by his enemies. His only hope of release is to find a greedy sorcerer to make a magical gem called the Philosopher's Stone which contains the god-like energy and abilities of the cosmos itself. After Mozenrath creates the stone, Khartoum double crosses him and takes the stone for himself. His name is an adaptation of the capital and second largest city of Sudan and of Khartoum State.

Plot

Mozenrath finds Khartoum and tries to unkock his secets after searching for the book 7 years in the 7 Deserts. Khartoum comes to life and floats. Khartoum pretends to be his ally and tells him that the key to all of the magical secrets in the cosmos is held within a magical gem called the Philosopher's Stone. which requires a cosmic power source strong enough to heat the furnace, with Mozenrath deciding to kidnap Genie on the beach.

However, Genie isn't powerful enough to heat the furnacebut becomes happy to find Eden trying to rescue Genie and tricks her into heating the furnace with Genie under the false promise of releasing Genie. When the Philosopher's Stone is finished, Khartoum take sit to free himself, double crossing Mozenrath. Khartoum tries to kill Mozenrath and the others but Genie and Eden initiate the Genie embrace, allowing them to power up to their full strength and stop Khartoum by taking backhis philosopher's stone and sending it into the sky to self destruct Khartoum is left back in his book state.
