Magma is an Ifrit who was summoned by Abis Mal to conquer Agrabah.
Appearance
Magma is a pure-blooded ifrit, a demon of fire that manifests in the form of a miniature volcano, although other different varieties of Ifrits exist. His skin is black and rocky and his insides boil a bright red color. He also possesses a tail much like that of a Rock Ifrit.
Personality
He is a being of little patience and has zero tolerance for human fools like Abis Mal, but he will obey the rules of Ifrit law if necessary.
Plot
Magma is a fire elemental ifrit with the power to control Earth's temperature. Known as the Lord of Volcanoes, he is summoned by Abis Mal who lit the Candle of Magma and by Ifirt law was forced to listen to Abis Mal's commands to help him become sultan. When the Sultan refuses, Magma heats up the city ground temperature at the point that water vaporizes and wooden carts spontaneously explode. Eventually, the ifrit is defeated when he falls down a deep well. The resulting steam pressure launches him into the sun.
Trivia
- Like all other Ifrits, he is based on the low ranking fire demons from Arabic demonology. However unlike previous breeds of ifrit such as Frigeed (an Ice Ifrit) and the Rock Ifrit, Magma is a regular ifrit and the closest to matching the original description of ifrits.
