Prince Uncouthma is the ruler of the barbarian land of Odiferous.
He is voiced by Tino Insana.
Appearance
Prince Uncouthma is an obese man with brown hair and a mustache. He wears a gray cloak, a hat, and purple and aqua striped pants.
Personality
He is a kind and boisterous man. He is very friendly and strong though as a barbarian tends to smash first ask questions later (if ever). As a result, he tends to smash stuff that anger him. Despite this, he understands and respects Aladdin as a hero and even sets him as a role model for a son despite Aladdin not being as strong as a barbarian, understanding that Aladdin has saved his life and that Aladdin's thinking is a beneficial skill to teach his son. He is also loyal to his friends, as he couldn't smash Aladdin after Nefir led him to believe Aladdin stole his land's sacred crock of cheese. He also doesn't like war, as shown in the Way We Were, when after his defenses are reflected if the war is over.
Plot
That Stinking Feeling
This is his first appearance, where he comes to court Princess Jasmine and she uses him to make Aladdin jealous. However, he concedes when he realizes Aladdin and Jasmine love each other.
Stinker Belle
He invites Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, Abu, Iago, and Carpet to his wedding with Brawnhilda. However, unexpectedly she decides to marry Aladdin instead, much to his anger. He tries drowning his sorrows in eating until Jasmine tells him to fight for his love, but he takes her too literally and decides to challenge Aladdin to a duel for Brawnhilda. After Runta's attempt to kill him injures him, Brawnhilda runs back to Uncouthma and the two wed.
Smells Like Trouble
Uncouthma and Brawnhilda welcome him back to their land to present their son Bud as Uncouthma wants Aladdin to be his son's role model. His son, Bud, initially is not taken with Aladdin since he does not fit the ideal barbarian image of muscle, brawn and masculinity. Uncouthma is soon poisoned by some strange lizards that when eating hceese emit a horrible breath that infects whoever whiffs it with an unusual coma like disease. Uncouthma is later saved by Aladdin and Bud and thanks Aladdin for teaching Bud about thinking first.
The Way we War
Odiferous has waged war on Agrabah since they are led to believe by Nefir that Agrabah stole their sacred crock of cheese. Uncouthma is initially hesitant to war but is convinced by Nefir that Aladdin stole their sacred crock of cheese and decides to confront and destroy Aladdin himself. However, Uncouthma cannot bring himself to kill Aladdin and the two piece together that Nefir is the one starting the war through lies about who stole the crock cheese. Nefir decides to have them executed but the two manage to escape alive and report to their respective kingdoms the treachery, ednig the war while demanding refunds from Nefir.
